Daily living with MS, Foot Drop, MS Symptoms

My Daily Challenge – walking without tripping..

It is only 1pm and I have fallen or tripped twice today. I skinned my knee 🙂 (hopefully it will clear quickly as I have a wedding in 3 weeks and I want to wear a dress..)

It is so frustrating. I have a weak left leg hip so lifting my leg is hard and then the left foot just doesn’t feel like working all the time, it just wants to be dropped and make everything else compensate for it.

But today I am investing in a standing multi hip abductors machine. They used to have one in my gym and I think it definitely helped. They got rid of it over 2 years ago. Abductor1 What I really liked about it was that you couldn’t over compensate, you had to work the one leg.

I am really hoping that this might help to strengthen my leg. It is my main MS symptom and any degree of strength would really help.
I am using my Birthday money to buy it, I was supposed to get a handbag but this is better for me (or so I keep telling myself) LOL

I should also thank a good friend Tracey who thought of me when she heard the machine was available..

I will keep you posted on my progress.
